TV shows no signal

The wrong input may be selected, or the connected source may not be sending a picture.

Never open TVs or power supplies. Stop using them if there is a burning smell, smoke or crackling. Do not disconnect power during an update.

Turn on the TV and receiver, console or PC. Check whether the TV menu is visible.
Press Source/Input on the remote and select the HDMI socket actually used by the cable, such as HDMI 1.
Turn both devices off, check that the HDMI cable is secure, then restart them. Do not force damaged or tight connectors.
Try another suitable cable or HDMI input. For aerial reception, check the connection and provider; retuning can change the channel list.
