Wi-Fi password rejected

The network name, saved password or supported security mode may be wrong.

Do not factory-reset a router speculatively or indiscriminately disable Wi-Fi security or a firewall. Get permission before changing someone else’s network.

Select the correct network name. The Wi-Fi password is not necessarily the router administrator or provider account password.
Enter the current password exactly, including letter case and without extra spaces. The label is valid only if the password has not been changed.
Only if you know the current password, forget the saved network on the device and reconnect. This removes that device’s saved access details.
For an older device, check supported WPA security modes with the manual and connection owner. Do not enable an open network or WEP, and do not enter your password here.
