Router: no internet

If every device is offline, the connection, provider or router may be responsible.

Do not factory-reset a router speculatively or indiscriminately disable Wi-Fi security or a firewall. Get permission before changing someone else’s network.

Test two devices. If only one fails, investigate that device instead of resetting the router.
Check power and connection cables. Look up the Internet/DSL/WAN light in the manual for your exact model.
Use mobile data to check your provider for an outage. Note when it started and the status lights.
If no update is running, use the router restart function or disconnect power for 30 seconds. Allow up to 10 minutes to reconnect. Do not press Reset; contact the provider if the fault continues.
