0x803F8001 – App license could not be confirmed

The Microsoft Store or an app cannot assign the usage license.

Stop if unsure or if a new warning appears. Save your work before changes and ask IT before changing a work device. Never disclose passwords or recovery keys.

Open the Microsoft Store and make sure you're signed in with the Microsoft account that was used to purchase the app.
Check internet connection and time. Open Library or Downloads in the store and install available updates.
Check purchase history for purchased apps. Do not use third-party product keys or activation tools.

Test after each step and stop when the issue is solved. Checkmarks are not permanently saved.
